Brickline Residences
Three contemporary downtown residences pair generous floor plans with a layered, house-scaled facade and rear-loaded garages.
Project overview
Brickline Residences brings three full-sized homes to a compact downtown Salida property while maintaining a comfortable, neighborhood-scaled presence. Each two-story residence provides four bedrooms, three baths, open living spaces, private outdoor areas, and a detached garage.
The street elevation is organized as a series of smaller, house-like volumes, with paired gables and recessed balconies reducing the perceived mass of the triplex. A layered material palette of weathered brick, dark horizontal siding, light stucco, and warm vertical accents gives the building depth and a contemporary mountain character.
Locating the garages at the rear allows covered porches, individual entries, landscaping, and pedestrian connections to shape the public face of the project. The result adds meaningful residential density while preserving the welcoming scale and architectural character of its downtown neighborhood.
