Three Gables Residences

A thoughtfully designed Salida triplex combining efficient urban density with the scale, individuality, and welcoming character of three distinct homes.

Project overview

Three Gables Residences introduces three spacious homes on a compact infill property in Salida while preserving the scale and character of a traditional residential streetscape. Rather than reading as one large multifamily building, the facade is organized around three distinct entries, welcoming front porches, and a balanced rhythm of residential forms.

White stucco, stone bases, cedar shingles, and warm wood accents give the exterior a durable mountain character while visually distinguishing each residence. Alley-accessed detached garages keep vehicles away from the primary frontage, allowing landscaping, walkways, and individual entrances to shape the street experience.

Each two-story residence provides an open kitchen, dining, and living area, a main-level primary suite, and three additional bedrooms upstairs. The project demonstrates how thoughtful multifamily design can add density to an established neighborhood without sacrificing individuality, comfort, or a strong sense of home.
