Three Peaks Home

The project is located in the Salida Valley of Central Colorado. Three Peaks Home was designed around a deeply personal connection to the landscape. The owner wanted the residence to capture views of three mountain peaks northwest of the property, with each peak representing a close relative. Those meaningful views became a guiding element in the home's orientation, window placement, and overall composition.

Nestled above the Salida Valley, the residence also enjoys a sweeping panorama that includes S Mountain, Rainbow Boulevard, and the surrounding mountain ranges. Layered gables, stone, timber, and broad areas of glazing give the home a strong mountain character while framing the scenery from the primary living spaces. The forms were designed to echo the surrounding peaks, creating a home that reflects both the beauty of the landscape and the personal meaning it holds for the owner.
